Jerusalem, 27 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the Yashar! party, voted in Herzliya on Tuesday afternoon, accompanied by his wife, Hanna, and other family members.

Before heading to the polling station, Eisenkot visited the grave of his son, Gal, who fell in combat during the war in Gaza.

“We are setting Israel on a new path,” Eisenkot said after casting his ballot. “We will be worthy of it. I promise.”

Eisenkot also addressed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s election-day campaign statements, urging supporters not to be alarmed by his warnings.

“After he presented a simulation of an atomic bomb in Tel Aviv, I suggest not to be frightened by his scare tactics,” Eisenkot said.

“These are critical elections. This may be the most critical day since the establishment of the state,” he added, calling on Israelis to go out and vote.
