Eisenkot Demands Netanyahu Remove Video He Shot at Air Force Base

Jerusalem, 29 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar party has demanded that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remove a video he posted from the Israeli Air Force’s Tel Nof base, warning that its timing and setting violate election propaganda rules.
The party sent a legal warning to the Likud’s legal adviser, demanding removal within four hours.
According to the letter, the video, posted 28 days before Israel’s October 27 election, uses a military base and fighter jets as a backdrop to Netanyahu’s warning that Israel’s enemies may attempt an attack ahead of the vote.
Yashar argues that displaying military assets behind Netanyahu could create an association between the prime minister and the IDF, using public assets for campaign purposes.
The party said it weighs petitioning the Central Elections Committee for an injunction if the video is not removed.
