Jerusalem, 1 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority has initiated deportation proceedings against 14 foreign nationals arrested following security clashes near Lubban ash-Sharqiya, near Schehem (Nablus).
The suspects were detained by IDF (Israel Defense Forces) troops over the weekend after allegedly entering a closed military zone and violating lawful orders near a local farm.
Following questioning by Judea and Samaria District police officers at the Modi’in Illit station, law enforcement established an evidentiary basis for charges related to public disorder and unlawful presence.
The case files have been formally transferred to immigration officials for pre-expulsion hearings. Israeli authorities underscored that joint security operations will continue to decisively curb foreign-involved provocations, agitation, and unauthorized activity across the region.
