Jerusalem, 7 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — PARIS — Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic missions worldwide launched extensive global events to mark three years since the October 7 attacks, connecting survivors and bereaved families with international decision-makers and the public.

In Paris, municipal officials and Israeli diplomats inaugurated a pathway in Parc Monceau named in honor of Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir Bibas. Similar diplomatic initiatives unfolded across major capitals: Berlin lit the Brandenburg Gate in Israeli colors alongside a 1,000-chair memorial, while consular screenings and exhibitions took place in New York, London, Rome, Washington, and Beijing.

Survivors and family members shared testimonies in Japan, Mexico, Spain, and Germany. Permanent memorials were also established globally, including embassy-funded educational centers in the Philippines named after southern communities and an approved monument in Nepal honoring 11 slain students.
