Jerusalem, 6 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Detectives from the Inter-Agency Joint Headquarters in the Judea and Samaria District, alongside Samaria Yasam (Special Patrol Unit) officers, arrested a 19-year-old resident of the Samaria area for involvement in a violent assault in the village of Qusra. A search of his vehicle turned up an airsoft pistol, a knife, a pocketknife, and tear gas.
Separately, as part of the investigation, conducted in cooperation with the Military Police Criminal Investigation Division, an 18-year-old resident of the Jordan Valley area and active-duty IDF soldier was also arrested Sunday.
Both suspects were set to appear in court, where police planned to request an extension of their remand.
