Jerusalem, 9 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli police have arrested three suspects in connection with a shooting in Nazareth on September 2 that killed two men, identified as Noor Nafe’a and Noor al-Din Hilu.
Police said emergency services received reports of gunfire targeting a vehicle during the evening, prompting a large deployment of forces to the scene. The case was handed to the Northern District Central Unit for investigation.
Overnight, as the probe moved into an overt phase, officers arrested three Nazareth residents in their 20s on suspicion of involvement in the killings.
Police said preliminary findings point to a conflict between local criminal organizations as the likely motive, amid a broader rise in gang-related Violence in Arab communities across Israel.
