TPS: Israel Charges Two Men Over Nearly 5 Kilograms of Cocaine Found in Vehicle
Two men from Tel Sheva, aged in their 20s, have been charged with drug possession after police discovered nearly 5kg of cocaine in a vehicle.
Jerusalem, 15 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli police intercepted a vehicle near the Be’er Sheva Prison Junction about a month ago, finding 4.92 kilograms of cocaine divided into four packages during a search, according to Segev Shalom Station officers.
Two suspects, both residents of Tel Sheva in their 20s, were arrested and questioned following the discovery. Investigators gathered evidence and testimony before referring the case for prosecution.
The Southern District Attorney’s Office filed an indictment against the two men, charging them with possession of a dangerous drug not intended for personal use.
