Israel Police and Border Police raided homes of terrorists released in hostage deals in East Jerusalem, including those involved in past attacks.
Among the terrorists whose homes were targeted in the operation are Mohammad Abdel Rahman Abad, who was involved in a 2002 attempted suicide bombing in Jerusalem, and Ahed Faiz Ali Alnatsha, a Hamas operative who was involved in 2001 in planning a car bomb explosion in a parking lot in Pisgat Ze’ev and in planning the attack at the Clal Center in Jerusalem, in which two police officers and ten civilians were injured.
