In an operation by officers of the Jordan Valley Unit and IDF soldiers, a weapons smuggling attempt was thwarted near the Adam Bridge. Detectives from the Jordan Valley Unit (YAGI) of the Judea and Samaria District and fighters from the Jordan Valley Brigade

The forces set up ambushes and observations and conducted searches that led to the location and arrest of two suspects, residents of Jericho in their 20s, near Adam Bridge. During their interrogation in the field, a bag they had buried in the area was located, and inside it, the officers found ten pistols that had been smuggled by the suspects through the eastern border. The suspects were transferred for investigation at the Central Unit of the Judea and Samaria District.
