Jerusalem, 3 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli-American cybersecurity firm Varonis announced the acquisition of U.S.-based SlashNext, aiming to enhance its ability to detect and prevent email- and messaging-based cyberattacks.
SlashNext, founded by Atif Mushtaq, specializes in AI-driven technology that identifies sophisticated social engineering threats across platforms such as email, WhatsApp, Slack, and Teams. By integrating SlashNext’s capabilities into its existing platform, Varonis can provide security teams with a more comprehensive and consolidated view of threats, detecting breaches earlier in the attack chain.
