Jerusalem, 6 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — More than 7,000 Israelis have been brought home from Dubai as part of an emergency airlift launched After Flydubai suspended flights to Israel following last week’s attempted terrorist attack aboard a flight bound for Ben Gurion Airport.
According to Israel’s Transportation Ministry, 7,415 passengers have returned to Israel through flights operated by Israeli airlines from Dubai and regular Etihad flights from Abu Dhabi.
The first special flights from Dubai began arriving last Friday, with Israeli carriers operating additional flights to meet demand. The repatriation operation is expected to continue through Thursday, when the currently scheduled flights are due to be completed.
The Transportation Ministry said it is continuing to coordinate with airlines and relevant authorities to ensure the safe and orderly return of Israelis still seeking to leave the United Arab Emirates.
