Arkia Cleared to Launch Dubai Rescue Flights Today and Tomorrow
Arkia is cleared to operate rescue flights from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Friday and Saturday, after delays in UAE landing permits.
Jerusalem, 2 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Arkia has officially received all required approvals and will operate Rescue Flights from Dubai to Tel Aviv today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday.
The announcement follows prolonged uncertainty and delays in approving Israeli airlines’ landing permits in the United Arab Emirates, which earlier led El Al to cancel its planned rescue flights.
Arkia said it will operate one rescue flight today and another tomorrow, while seeking approval for three additional flights during the weekend.
Under security instructions, passengers may bring only hand luggage, including a carry-on suitcase. Their remaining baggage will be transported separately to Israel on dedicated cargo flights during the coming week, with passengers responsible for collecting it at Ben Gurion Airport.
Tickets for the rescue flights are available through Arkia’s official website. Israelis stranded in Dubai are advised to remain in direct contact with their airline and check for updated schedules and seat availability.
