Jerusalem, 13 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Popular Israeli pollster and political strategist Shlomo Filber warned Monday night that Benjamin Netanyahu’s political bloc faces a growing challenge just two weeks before Israel’s October 27 election. Responding to a Channel 14 poll conducted by NEXT DATA, Filber highlighted the danger of fragmentation among right-wing, religious and Haredi voters.
The poll showed >”>Likud falling two seats to 29, while Netanyahu’s overall bloc dropped from 63 to 61 seats, leaving it at the minimum threshold for a parliamentary majority. Filber warned that votes spread across six parties could cost the right-wing bloc approximately 3.5 seats, potentially jeopardizing its ability to form a government.
Several smaller right-wing parties remain below the electoral threshold, meaning their votes Could Be wasted. Filber described the situation as a serious headache for the right-wing camp ahead of election day.
