Jerusalem, 8 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Ofer Winter, head of the Amcha Yisrael party, unveiled an 18-point security doctrine Thursday ahead of Israel’s 26th Knesset election, sharply criticizing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and senior defense officials.

Speaking at a conference organized by the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism, Winter blamed years of what he called a “containment” policy for the October 7 massacre. He also accused Netanyahu of contradicting his public opposition to Palestinian statehood.

Winter presented a 21-point document that he said reflected commitments accepted by Netanyahu, including a provision for developing conditions for a “credible pathway to self-determination and a Palestinian state.”

“He says there will be no Palestinian state, but in practice legitimizes its establishment,” Winter charged.

Winter declared that Palestinian statehood must never be negotiated and tore pages from the document on stage, proclaiming: “The Oslo Accords no longer exist.”
