Israel Demolishes 35 Illegal Structures in Northern Samaria
In northern Samaria, Israel's Civil Administration demolished 35 illegal Arab-owned structures, including residences and commercial buildings, under Minister.
Jerusalem, 9 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Civil Administration’s Inspection Unit carried out an operation today to demolish 35 illegally constructed Arab-owned structures in Northern Samaria.
The structures were located at strategic points along access routes to new communities in the area. The buildings targeted included commercial structures, large residences, public buildings, nurseries, and greenhouses.
In addition to the demolitions, the owners of approximately 10 other large structures and greenhouses voluntarily dismantled them, covering a total area of about 12.5 acres.
The operation was carried out in accordance with the government’s decision regarding the return to northern Samaria, under Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
