Jerusalem, 15 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Four weeks before Israel’s national election, the documentary “The Bibi Files,” based on leaked footage from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s police interrogations, will be screened in Brussels for European Parliament members and staff.

The film was assembled from more than 1,000 hours of footage filmmaker Alex Gibney received anonymously via Signal in 2023. It includes interrogations of Netanyahu, his wife Sara, son Yair, and others involved in his corruption cases. It also features former Netanyahu confidant-turned-state-witness Nir Hefetz and was Oscar-shortlisted in 2024.

Tucker Carlson released the film on his news network in March, after which excerpts went viral on social media.

The Brussels screening is being organized by Italian Five Star Movement MEP Valentina Palmisano’s office and is not an official European Parliament event.

Netanyahu denies the charges, calling the case political persecution.
