Jerusalem, 21 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — An olive harvest in the Palestinian town of Deir Jarir near Ramallah concluded peacefully on Wednesday after Israeli security forces deployed proactively following a warning from the Binyamin Regional Council.
The council said it had alerted authorities a day earlier to the planned event, which was expected to draw left-wing activists. The council warned that further provocations are expected on Friday.
