Israeli Security Forces Arrest Three Suspects Following Violent Clashes Near Jalud
Israeli security forces arrested a Jerusalem resident and two minors following violent clashes near Jalud, seizing vehicles and weapons.
Jerusalem, 29 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — JALUD — Israeli police, alongside the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and Shin Bet (Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service), have arrested a Jerusalem resident and detained two minors following overnight violent assault incidents near the Palestinian village of Jalud in Samaria.
Security forces seized two vehicles linked to the violence, discovering face masks and a club in one of the cars. The operation follows violent clashes in which rioters torched Palestinian property and injured three Border Police officers during a failed attempt to return a displaced local family to their home.
The two minor suspects were taken into custody for questioning at the joint inter-agency headquarters in the Judea and Samaria District as forensic teams and investigators continue collecting evidence at the scene.
