Jerusalem, 6 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — JERUSALEM — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that the average gross monthly salary for salaried positions in Israel rose to 14,534 Shekels ($3,880) in July 2026, marking a 3.4% year-over-year nominal increase from July 2025, according to official Central Bureau of Statistics data.

Adjusted for inflation via the Consumer Price Index, real average wages reached 11,536 Shekels ($3,790), reflecting a 1.8% real growth compared to the previous year.

Total salaried employment nationwide expanded to 4.251 million positions, representing a 0.4% monthly uptick from June 2026 and a 0.8% annual increase. The steady growth in both wage levels and total employment underscores labor market resilience amid broader economic factors.
