Netanyahu Set for Talks With Nine World Leaders During UN Visit
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with leaders from nine countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, and Ethiopia, during his UN visit.
Jerusalem, 24 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with the presidents of Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Panama and Ethiopia, Colombia’s vice president, and the prime ministers of Greece, Slovenia and Papua New Guinea during his visit to New York, his office announced on Thursday morning.
Netanyahu will also address the United Nations General Assembly at 9 p.m. Israel time today.
The Prime Minister’s Office said other leaders requested meetings with Netanyahu, but said his tight schedule and the need to return to Israel before the Sukkot holiday limited the number he could accommodate. Sukkot begins on Friday at sundown.
