Jerusalem, 11 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar departs this evening, October 11, for an official diplomatic visit to Albania to sign a broad government-to-government (G2G) agreement.

The accord allows the Albanian government to contract directly with Israeli firms, opening key commercial opportunities across cyber, innovation, water management, energy, healthcare, and agriculture. During his trip, Sa’ar is scheduled to hold high-level bilateral meetings with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, Speaker of Parliament Niko Peleshi, and Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha.

Relations between the two nations remain strong. Tirana has firmly supported Israel while designating Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization and condemning Hamas terror attacks.
