Jerusalem, 29 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Elbit Systems will unveil its unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) capabilities for the first time at Euronaval 2026 in Paris, expanding its autonomous maritime portfolio into the underwater domain, the company announced on Thursday.

Elbit acquired the technology through its purchase of International Submarine Engineering (ISE), which has delivered more than 250 underwater vehicles to customers in over 20 countries.

Elbit will showcase the systems alongside its Seagull unmanned surface vessels, highlighting coordinated operations between surface and underwater platforms and manned-unmanned teaming.

The modular autonomous underwater vehicles are designed for intelligence gathering, mine countermeasures, anti-submarine warfare, seabed mapping, and protecting critical maritime infrastructure. They support long-endurance missions and can carry sonar, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems, and specialized sensors.

Elbit said the expansion strengthens its integrated maritime offering, combining autonomous vehicles, mission systems, communications, and mission management to coordinate complex naval operations across multiple domains.
