Despite 16% Revenue Growth, Israels Largest Engineering Firm Reports Q2 Loss
Israel's largest engineering firm, Baran Group, posted a Q2 2026 net loss of $1.23 million, even as revenue grew 16.3% to $70.82 million.
Jerusalem, 25 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Baran Group’s revenue in the second quarter of 2026 totaled about $70.82 million, up 16.3% from $60.93 million in the same quarter last year.
However, the higher revenue did not translate into a profit. The group reported a net loss of about $1.23 million, including a $1.33 million loss attributable to shareholders, compared with a net profit of $0.5 million, including $0.43 million for shareholders, in the second quarter of 2025.
Baran Group (BARAN) was founded in 1979 and is Israel’s largest engineering company, with an annual turnover of more than $330 million. It operates offices in Israel, Eastern and Western Europe, North, Central and South America, South Africa and Southeast Asia.
