Jerusalem, 1 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — British pop icon Boy George arrived in Israel on a private jet Saturday night for two scheduled performances. Speaking at the reception at Ben Gurion Airport, the singer expressed solidarity with Israel, saying he came “out of love, out of a belief in peace and out of a desire for us to dance, live and celebrate together again.”
“I have many Jewish friends who are wonderful people, and I want to tell the world how wonderful they are,” he added, explaining that he felt compelled to speak publicly about their experiences. He said their appreciation for his support had been “quite overwhelming.”
Boy George also discussed his song “We Will Dance Again” and his decision to support Israel, describing conversations with longtime Jewish friends in Britain who felt increasingly unsafe and frightened.
He is scheduled to perform in Israel on November 4 and 7.
