Israir Gets Final US Approval for New York Flights

Israeli airline Israir has received final US FAA approval for nonstop commercial flights between Tel Aviv and New York, with tickets going on sale soon.

Jerusalem, 24 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli low-cost airline Israir has received final regulatory approval from the US Federal Aviation Administration to operate scheduled commercial flights to North America, clearing the way for nonstop service between Tel Aviv and New York.

The airline said tickets will go on sale “very soon,” after previously planning to begin sales on October 19.
