El Al will operate special rescue flights from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Friday to repatriate Israelis stranded in the UAE, with tickets set at $249 Lite fare.
Jerusalem, 1 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — El Al will operate special rescue flights from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Friday, following security approval, as the airline works to bring Israelis stranded in the United Arab Emirates home.
Tickets are being sold at a uniform $249 Lite fare.
The first rescue flight, LY974, will depart Tel Aviv in the morning and leave Dubai for Tel Aviv at 11 a.m. A second flight, LY972, is scheduled to depart Dubai at 1 p.m.
The aircraft flying from Tel Aviv to Dubai will operate without passengers. Under government regulations, passengers returning to Israel may bring hand luggage only, including a carry-on suitcase.
El Al warned that flight schedules could change at the direction of security and other authorities. The airline said it will continue working to add flights and help as many Israelis as possible return home safely.
