Military Commander Signs Order to Demolish Home of Settlers Murderer
The Central Command commander has ordered the demolition of Duas Hasson's home, who is accused of murdering Yehuda Sherman and injuring another near Beit Imin.
Jerusalem, 27 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Central Command commander signed an order to confiscate and demolish the home of terrorist Duas Hasson, 50, who murdered Yehuda Sherman, 18, and injured another civilian.
According to the indictment, On March 21, Hasson learned that Israeli civilians were traveling toward his village, Beit Imin. He drove his pickup truck to a nearby road and waited. When he saw three Israelis in a Ranger off-road vehicle, he followed them.
When the vehicle slowed near a steep slope, Hasson deliberately rammed its rear at high speed. The impact sent the vehicle down the cliff, throwing its passengers out. Sherman was killed and his brother, Daniel, was injured.
Hasson is charged with intentionally causing death, which is equivalent to murder, attempting to cause the deaths of the other two passengers, obstructing justice, and illegally possessing weapons.
A final judicial sentence has not yet been handed down.
