Jerusalem, 26 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli President Isaac Herzog spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, on Thursday, marking four years since the start of the war in Ukraine.
Herzog expressed condolences for the loss of life and offered prayers for those injured or affected by the conflict. The Israeli president highlighted Israel’s support for Ukraine in the recent UN General Assembly vote and outlined ongoing humanitarian aid efforts. The leaders also discussed international initiatives, including efforts led by former U.S. President Donald Trump, aimed at ending the war.
