Yoseph Haddad: Its Time for Liberman and Bennet to Join Netanyahus Bloc
Yoseph Haddad calls for Liberman and Bennett to join Netanyahu's right-wing bloc, warning against cooperation with Yair Golan.
Jerusalem, 28 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Yoseph Haddad, No. 2 in Ofer Winter’s Amcha Yisrael party, said Monday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s call to form a “broad right-wing government” should mean ending political boycotts.
Haddad urged Avigdor Liberman and Naftali Bennett to remain within the right-wing camp rather than cooperate with Yair Golan or Mansour Abbas.
Winter, the party’s chairman, criticized a meeting of opposition bloc leaders Saturday night, saying it showed the political implications of voting for Liberman or Bennett.
“Anyone who votes for Liberman and Bennett is voting for Yair Golan, who says that a normal country does not kill babies as a hobby, and he means us,” Winter said.
In May 2025, Golan said Israel was on a path to becoming a “pariah state,” adding that “a sane country does not wage war against civilians, does not kill babies as a hobby, and does not set goals of expelling a population.”
