Jerusalem, 27 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel Police Commissioner, Chief Commissioner Dani Levy, conducted on-site inspections of security deployments in Kiryat Gat on Tuesday to oversee operations during the national parliamentary elections.
Accompanied by Southern District Commander Major General Haim Bublil, Levy evaluated force readiness and met with officers stationed at polling locations, as well as voting citizens.
The visit forms part of a nationwide monitoring effort to maintain public order and safeguard democratic processes.
Police leadership confirmed that thousands of officers, border police, and volunteers remain deployed at heightened readiness across all sectors nationwide to ensure safe, orderly access to ballot boxes throughout Election Day.
