International Christian Embassy Condemns EU Sanctions and Settlement Bans
The International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem condemns EU sanctions and trade bans on Judea and Samaria, labeling them discriminatory.
Jerusalem, 11 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem (ICEJ) has issued a strong condemnation of European sanctions and trade restrictions targeting Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, calling the measures “discriminatory.” The organization has consistently emphasized the Jewish people’s biblical connection and historical claim to sovereignty in the region.
The condemnation comes amid a growing European push to impose economic and political pressure over Israeli settlement activity. Britain, joined by 11 European countries including France, Spain and Ireland, has announced measures restricting imports from Judea and Samaria and sanctioning construction companies operating there. The European Union has also imposed sanctions on Israeli organizations active in the region.
European governments say the measures are intended to promote a two-state solution and halt settlement construction. ICEJ and other pro-Israel organizations, however, argue that the sanctions unfairly target Israel’s legitimate rights in its historic homeland.
