Jerusalem, 11 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel killed a commander in Hamas’ elite Nukhba unit who participated in the abduction of Israelis during the October 7 massacre, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed on Sunday.
Hisham Jamal Muhammad Abu Jalalah, a key figure in the raid on the Kissufim outpost on the day of the attack, was killed in a Khan Yunis airstrike on Monday, the IDF said.
“Throughout the war and recently, the terrorist advanced terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli civilians and worked to rehabilitate Hamas’s capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire,” the IDF said.
