In a personnel discussion held today (Monday), October 26, 2026, 15 Cheshvan 5787, chaired by the Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, the following appointments were decided. All appointments are subject to the approval of the Minister of Defense, Israel Katz.
Col. N’ will be appointed Deputy Commander of the Bashan Division (210).
Col. G’ will be appointed Deputy Commander of the Sinai Division (252).
Lt. Col. L’ will be appointed Deputy Commander of the Galilee Division (91) and promoted to the rank of Colonel.
Lt. Col. Ayin’ will be appointed Deputy Commander of the Gaza Division (143) and promoted to the rank of Colonel.
Lt. Col. S’ will be appointed Deputy Commander of the Edom Division (80) and promoted to the rank of Colonel.
Lt. Col. Y’ will be appointed Deputy Commander of the Fire Division (98) and promoted to the rank of Colonel.
Lt. Col. R’ will be appointed Deputy Commander of the Barak Division (99) and promoted to the rank of Colonel.
Lt. Col. Sh’ will be appointed Deputy Commander of the Gilad Division (96) and promoted to the rank of Colonel.
Lt. Col. (Res.) A’ will be appointed Commander of the Desert Foxes Division (646) and promoted to the rank of Colonel (Reserves).
Col. A’ will be appointed Head of the Doctrine and Learning Department in the Doctrine and Training Brigade in the Operations Directorate.
Lt. Col. (Res.) Dudu Gilad will be appointed Head of the Behavioral Sciences Department and promoted to the rank of Colonel.
