In his role, Abu Said was responsible for the Hamas terrorist organization’s liaison with various countries. The terrorist constituted a significant source of knowledge for the organization. Throughout the war, and particularly recently, the terrorist promoted terror plans against IDF forces and citizens of the State of Israel and acted to restore the capabilities of the Hamas terrorist organization, while systematically violating the ceasefire. Abu Said was eliminated from the air with the aim of removing the threat he posed. Security forces are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove any threat.
