After three months of activity, the forces of Brigade Combat Team 228, under the command of Division 210, completed their mission in the forward security area in Syria, to remove threats to the State of Israel.
Over the past few months, the forces carried out targeted operations, interrogated dozens of suspects, arrested several operatives, destroyed terror infrastructure, and located numerous weapons, including: RPG rockets, mortar bombs, and Kalashnikov rifles.
Forces of Brigade Combat Team 228 recently completed their fifth reserve duty rotation. They will be replaced by forces from Brigade 2.
Forces of Division 210 will continue to operate in the area to protect the security of the citizens of the State of Israel and the residents of the Golan Heights in particular.
