Jerusalem, 4 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Two patients hospitalized in Israel over suspected Ebola infections have tested negative for the virus, the Health Ministry said Wednesday.
The patients were hospitalized Tuesday after developing fevers upon returning from the Democratic Republic of Congo, prompting concerns they may have contracted the disease.
More than 10,000 infections and at least 5,300 deaths have been reported in the DRC with other cases linked to the outbreak reported in neighboring Uganda, Kenya and Nigeria.
