Jerusalem, 5 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel and Germany have signed a joint work plan for 2027, marking the fifth consecutive year of their bilateral energy partnership.
The agreement was finalized in Israel during a visit by a delegation from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action focusing on infrastructure resilience.
The 2027 agenda prioritizes advanced technologies, renewable energy integration, cybersecurity, and the protection of critical grid infrastructure.
As part of the strategic exchange, German energy experts conducted high-level policy reviews and toured key Israeli energy hubs, including the Orot Rabin power plant in Hadera, natural gas facilities operated by INGL, and the national grid operator Noga’s control center in Haifa.
Bilateral discussions also incorporated operational defense lessons learned from recent conflicts to enhance grid safety against physical and cyber threats.
