Over 24,000 Tons of Medical Supplies Entered Gaza Since Ceasefire
COGAT reports over 24,000 tons of medical supplies entered Gaza since the ceasefire, alongside fuel deliveries and staff rotations.
Jerusalem, 23 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s military liaison agency for Gaza, COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: Judea and Samaria and towards the Gaza Strip), reported that more than 24,000 tons of medical supplies and equipment have entered the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire began, coordinated with international organizations.
According to COGAT, efforts also include rotating medical personnel, facilitating evacuations, and establishing new field hospitals and clinics. This week alone, more than 150,000 liters of fuel were delivered to support World Health Organization operations in Gaza.
The agency said nine staff rotations for international humanitarian organizations took place this month, involving dozens of medical and logistical personnel, as part of ongoing coordination amid continued scrutiny over humanitarian access in Gaza.
