Three suspects were arrested. Police officers from the Binyamin station in the Shomron region, along with IDF soldiers from the Binyamin Brigade, operated last night in the area of the villages of Silwad and Mizra’a al-Sharqiya. During the operation, three parked vehicles were located with license plates suspected of being forged. These vehicles were seized and towed from the scene. Subsequently, during searches conducted by the forces, the officers noticed two vehicles that aroused their suspicion, but their drivers, who noticed the forces, attempted to flee the scene unsuccessfully and were arrested by the officers. The two suspects, residents of Mizra’a al-Sharqiya, were arrested and transferred for investigation. Later, a motorcyclist driving without a helmet noticed a police car blocking his path, accelerated towards it, hit the police car, and fled on foot. After a short pursuit, he was arrested by the officers, and it was found that the suspect, a resident of Jericho, had never obtained a driver’s license and that the motorcycle he was riding was stolen in 2024. In another case of a foot pursuit, the forces arrested a minor, a resident of Silwad, after he threw stones at the forces during the operation.
