Following the incident, the suspect contacted her sister and shared what had happened. A short time later, her sister and two additional suspects arrived by car in Kfar Yona to locate the complainant, blocked his vehicle, and attacked him with clubs. As a result of the attack, the complainant sustained injuries, including a head wound for which he required medical treatment, and the vehicle was also damaged. Station investigators carried out a variety of investigative actions that led to the identification, location, and arrest of four suspects involved in the incident, and they were brought in for questioning at the police station. At the conclusion of their investigation, one suspect was released under restrictive conditions, including house arrest, and the other three suspects were brought for a court hearing, and their arrest was extended. At the end of the investigation and in accordance with its findings, an indictment was filed by the Central Prosecution Unit against three suspects for offenses of assault, malicious damage to a vehicle, simple assault, and violation of a legal order. The investigation concerning the fourth suspect is ongoing.
