Jerusalem, 7 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — SDEROT — Marking three years since the October 7 attacks, Israel Police Commissioner Danny Levy and senior commanders conducted a commemorative tour across southern battlegrounds on Wednesday to honor Fallen Officers and fighters.
The tribute began precisely at 6:29 AM—the exact minute the 2023 invasion commenced—with synchronized salute ceremonies and wreath-layings across 12 historic combat sites. Levy led a central memorial service at the site of the former Sderot police station, where officers engaged in fierce containment battles.
Following the service, the leadership corps traveled in a flagged police convoy from Sderot to Kibbutz Re’im, paying homage to the 58 police personnel who lost their lives defending southern Israeli communities.
