Jerusalem, 3 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Transportation and Road Safety Ministry’s digital service protecting against fraudulent vehicle ownership transfers has seen significant success, with more than 200,000 vehicle owners activating a block preventing unauthorized transfers at Israel Post branches within a month of its launch.

The service is now also available for privately owned vehicles registered under two co-owners, expanding the pool of owners who can benefit from the protection.

The ministry called on vehicle owners who have not yet activated the block to log into the Government Personal Area (Ezor Ishi) and register for the service, noting that activation is done digitally within minutes, eliminating the need to visit a licensing office or post office branch.
