Update: Brush Fire Spreads to Both Banks of Yarkon Stream in Ramat Gan
Seven firefighting teams are working to contain a brush fire that has spread to both banks of the Yarkon Stream in Ramat Gan, near the Ayalon Mall.

Jerusalem, 2 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel Fire and Rescue reported that seven firefighting and Rescue teams are operating across several sectors at a brush fire between the Ramat Gan Stadium and the training stadium behind the Ayalon Mall, near the Maccabiah Bridge.
The fire has spread to both banks of the stream due to dry brush and vegetation. Due to its proximity to the railway lines, train service in the area has been halted.
The public has been asked to avoid the area.
