Jerusalem, 15 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Operators from the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) elite Duvdevan (Cherry) counterterrorism unit, guided by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet – Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service), arrested a “key” operative of a dismantled terror network during what was described as a targeted operation in Jenin on Thursday morning.

Military officials confirmed the suspect served as a major arms dealer responsible for procuring and transferring firearms to terrorist cells across northern Samaria.

The target was affiliated with the infrastructure previously dismantled during Operation “Iron Wall,” a broad campaign aimed at neutralizing insurgent networks in West Bank refugee camps.

The IDF reiterated that counterterrorism forces will maintain proactive, offensive operations across Judea and Samaria to disrupt weapons pipelines and safeguard national security.
