Jerusalem, 7 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — An indictment was filed in the Jerusalem Magistrates Court against a teenager accused of spitting on the door of a church.
Avraham Antman, 19, of Yitzhar, allegedly spat at the door of the “Prison of Christ” church in Jerusalem’s Old City. According to the indictment, Antman was touring the Old City at the time of the incident, which it alleged was motivated by hatred toward Christians and Arabs.
Antman is charged with insulting religion.
