Jerusalem, 16 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli data infrastructure startup Keewano has raised $12 million in seed funding and launched KeewanoDB, which it describes as the first database designed for machine reasoning at scale.

KeewanoDB is designed to store complete event histories in chronological order and context, enabling artificial intelligence agents to analyze large datasets without reconstructing information at query time. The company said its technology can query 250 million events in under half a second.

The Tel Aviv-based company said the round was led by Israeli venture capital firm Hetz Ventures, with participation from U.S. venture firm a16z speedrun, Israeli firm Remagine Ventures, DIG Ventures and angel investors.
