Israel Cancer Research Fund Announces $5.35M in New Research Grants
The Israel Cancer Research Fund is granting $5.35 million to 38 cancer research projects in Israel for the 2026-27 year.
Jerusalem, 26 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel cancer research Fund (ICRF) has announced $5.35 million in new grants supporting 38 cancer research projects in Israel during the 2026-27 funding year.
The awards will fund research into cancer prevention, early detection and treatment, including projects involving artificial intelligence, advanced imaging, liquid biopsies, genomics, immunotherapy and precision medicine.
With 57 renewed grants, ICRF will support 95 active projects totaling $5.84 million during the funding year. The organization said its lifetime investment has reached nearly $109 million across more than 3,000 grants since 1975.
The grants are awarded through a peer-review process modeled on the U.S. National Institutes of Health and evaluated for scientific merit, innovation and potential impact.
