Yesh Atid MK Karine Elharrar Says She Wont Run in Next Knesset
Yesh Atid MK Karine Elharrar announced she will not seek re-election in the next Knesset, citing a desire for new challenges.

Jerusalem, 3 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — MK Karine Elharrar of the opposition Yesh Atid party announced that she will not Seek Reelection on the party’s list in the next Knesset. Elharrar, a Yesh Atid MK since the party entered the Knesset in 2013, previously served as energy minister from 2021 to 2022.
“I have decided to move on to a new challenge,” she said. She added that she would remain with Yesh Atid, calling it “my political home.”
