Finance Ministry Allocates Millions to Support Public Institutions After Iranian Conflict

Jerusalem, 6 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — JERUSALEM — Israel’s Ministry of Finance has launched a 40 million NIS ($11 million USD) emergency assistance framework for non-profit public institutions financial impacted by Operation “Roaring Lion,” the recent conflict Iran, the Accountant General’s Division announced.
The initiative offers targeted aid across two tracks based on organizational revenue size to support both small and large civil society entities. Government officials emphasized that maintaining third-sector operational continuity remains vital for national resilience during security emergencies.
Eligible organizations can submit digital applications through the official government portal between October 4 and October 18, 2026. The division will provide technical guidance to ensure rapid fund distribution.
