Jerusalem, 30 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Central Elections Committee on Thursday published the final official results of Israel’s October 27, 2026, election, following completion of the double-envelope count and an initial review of regular polling-station results.
The 120 seats in the 26th Knesset are distributed among 11 parties: Likud, 27; Yashar!, 21; Beyachad, 12; Joint List, 11; Democrats, 8; Ra’am, 8; Yisrael Beiteinu, 7; Otzma Yehudit, 7; United Torah Judaism, 7; Shas, 6; and Religious Zionism-Zehut, 6.
All remaining lists failed to cross the 3.25% electoral threshold.
Turnout reached 77.9%, with 5,716,665 ballots counted, including 5,690,778 valid votes and 25,887 invalid ballots. The threshold in this election was 184,947 votes (equal to just under 4 seats).
The committee said further routine audits could produce minor corrections before the results are formally submitted to President Isaac Herzog on Wednesday, November 4.
Acting Committee Director-General Dean Livneh also addressed the Shin Bet investigation launched at the direction of Committee Chairman Supreme Court President Noam Sohlberg. He said the Shin Bet chief had presented classified intelligence to Sohlberg, who authorized sharing its main points with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Opposition Leader Yair Lapid, and Yashar! Chairman Gadi Eisenkot.
Livneh stressed that reports published during the day were entirely unfounded, that the investigation did not concern any particular sector of the population, and that it would not impact the final election results. Its findings will be submitted to Sohlberg upon completion, with the committee promising to update the public as soon as security restrictions permit.
